Sharks, Vikings the class of the division

Samoana is tops in the division with 15 points from five wins through five games played while Tafuna is 2nd with 12 points from four wins after four games.
Next on the standings is Fa’asao-Marist Cougars with 6 points, followed by the Kananafou Stallions with 3; Tafuna Warriors in 5th with 3 points; Leone Lions and Iakina Adventist Academy in 6th and 7th places, respectively, with 0 points each.
Jan. 26 is the last day of the first round with Jan. 28 games to be the start of the second round.
Samoana and Faga’itua pit their perfect records against one another to close out the first round on Jan. 26.
In the junior varsity division (J-V) Tafuna leads with 7 points, followed by Samoana with 4, Faga’itua in 3rd with 3 and Leone in 4th with 0 points.
Both Tafuna and Samoana played to a 2-2 draw on Jan. 21 while the Vikings won easily against a vastly under-manned Leone Lions 8-0. The Lions only managed to field 7 players.
