Vikings atop girls soccer varsity competition

Round 3 was called off due to the expected arrival of Tropical Cyclone Wilma over the weekend.
The Vikings are two points clear of Samoana (6-4) while Leone is third with three points, followed by the Tafuna Warriors, defending champs Fa’asao-Marist and then the Kananafou Stallions.
In the J-V bracket, Tafuna leads with four points, followed by Faga’itua with three, defending champs Samoana with one and the Leone Lions with zero.
The schedule for Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011 is as follows at Kananafou Theological Seminary:
1:30 p.m. — Vikings vs. Warriors (JV)
1:30 p.m. — Sharks vs. Stallions (JV)
1:30 p.m. — Lions vs. Cougars (JV)
