FFAS EXCO off to Budapest for FIFA Congress

Three delegates from each FIFA MA will be attending the congress and the three for FFAS are President Iuli Alex Godinet and executive committee members Saili Ott and Mitch Shimasaki.
FFAS Vice-President Sandra Herrera will also be attending the congress as FFAS Medical Chairperson, making the total number of FFAS delegates at four.
This congress will be historic, as members will be voting on FIFA reform process proposals.
“We look forward to traveling to Budapest as it will be the first time for all of us,” said Iuli. “I’ve been to many FIFA congresses over the years and I always come back from it having learnt a lot.
“It is also a great opportunity to create a network with other associations as sometimes friends help out their fellow friends that are not as fortunate in as far as a few things such as marketing and development.”
Iuli is also an executive committee board member for the Oceania Football Confederation and the OFC will be having its congress in Budapest on May 23.
