Utulei tops Fagasa; Jets into top 4

The Jets were fortunate with a win by forfeit over Fagatogo Blue.
Fagasa, previously at No. 4, falls down a spot to fifth. Former No. 1 Kiwi Soccers continues its slide down after suffering a third straight loss that has them sitting in 7th while fellow Faga’alu club Green Bay moves into 6th.
Black Roses and Ilaoa & To’omata are still No. 1 and 2, respectively, with unbeaten 6-0 records. Black Roses holds the goals differential tiebreaker with 39-26.
In other round 6 games it was Ilaoa & To’omata 5, Lion Heart 0; Black Roses 3, Vailoatai Youth 0; Tafuna Jets 3, Fagatogo Blue 0 (forfeit); PanSa 3, Kiwi Soccers 1 and Green Bay 3, Pago Youth 0 (forfeit).
UTULEI YOUTH 1, FAGASA YOUTH 0
Back and forth the two teams went with missing scoring opportunities piling up on both ends.
Hillary Chong came through for Utulei with a goal in the 56th minute to help Utulei Youth win its third straight match.
PANSA 3, KIWI SOCCERS 1
PanSa turned a close, 1-0 halftime lead into a 3-1 final with Rete Tago scoring twice to help her team earn only their second win of the season.
BLACK ROSES 3, VAILOATAI YOUTH 0
The division’s top team cruised to another win behind Gloria Nu’usila’s brace of goals helped push their 1-0 lead at the break up by two at the end.
ILAOA & TO’OMATA 5, LION HEART 0
Charlotte Uili scored twice in Ilaoa & To’omata’s 5-0 beating of Lion Heart to earn their sixth straight win of the season.
At halftime they were leading 2-0.
