ASHSAA Girls soccer season ends

In second place are the Fa’asao-Marist Cougars, followed by the Kanana Fou Stallions and rounding out the top four for the postseason are the Faga’itua Vikings.
The South Pacific Academy Dolphins have completed the season in the No. 5 spot, followed by the Tafuna Warriors and Nu’uuli Voc-Tech.
The playoffs kickoff on Monday, March 2 with the championship game set for Wednesday, March 4.
Samoana takes on the Faga’itua Vikings in one semi-final while Fa’asao-Marist plays against the Stallions.
The Vikings have a mountain to climb when taking on the defending champs, Samoana. They lost in their only meeting of the season 8-2 on February 19. Faga’itua had managed to score first but then could not handle the onslaught from the Sharks.
As for the Stallions and Cougars, their game ended in a 2-2 stalemate during their only meeting of the season.
