Women’s 5-a-side semi-finals set

Utulei and the Jets made it past the first round of the playoffs after the former beat Pago Youth 4-0 and the latter won against Ilaoa & To’omata 3-1.
JETS 3, ILAOA & TO’OMATA 1
Fili Vaa helped Ilaoa & To’omata draw first blood in their first round playoff meeting with the Jets but it wasn’t long until Beulah Oney equalized it with a goal seven minutes later.
Both teams went into the half tied 1-1 and in the second half the Jets dominated possession of the ball to eventually break the tie and go on to win.
Two great passing movements led to 1-on-1 situations for the Jets as Tagiilima Lotoa scored the go-ahead goal on their way to a 3-1 finish.
UTULEI YOUTH 4, PAGO YOUTH 1
This playoff game was similar to the first with the losing team drawing first blood before eventually losing.
Sika Tiumalu managed to score a goal despite being closely defended but with the first half nearing its completion Fale Vaoga managed to equalize for Utulei.
In the second half the tables turned on Pago Youth as Tupu Faavae came out firing with two goals to her name to help Utulei win 4-1.
