Atu’u Broncos win Cup away from Vaitogi

In other FFAS Division 2 National League matches, Ilaoa & To’omata won against Green Bay 5-2 and Black Roses beat Vaiala Tongan B 3-0.
In the 11th minute Taulealo launched a shot from 25 yards out that found the bottom right corner to give the challengers a 1-0 lead.
In the 56th he placed another beauty at the top left corner, just beating the goalie’s outstretched arms to complete the game’s final tally.
ILAOA & TO’OMATA 5, GREEN BAY 2
In a span of three minutes Ilaoa & To’omata was up 2-0 against Green Bay and by halftime the latter had pulled within one for a 2-1 score.
Sefo Ulugia and Tala Fa’alavaau led the attack in the second half to put the game away with the former scoring his second goal of the match in that period while the latter scored twice to give the Leone-based team a 5-2 win.
BLACK ROSES 3, VAIALA TONGAN B 0
Joseph Villar scored twice in helping Black Roses beat Vaiala Tongan B 3-0 in a game that was tougher than the score indicates.
Black Roses led 1-0 after the first half before scoring twice in the second to put the game away.
MATCH DAY 3 (AUGUST 23, 2014)
Atu’u Broncos will put up their Cup against challenger Ilaoa & To’omata at 11:30 a.m. at Pago Park Soccer Stadium.
The division’s other two games will have Green Bay taking on Vaiala Tongan B at 11:30 as well while Vaitogi United plays against Black Roses at 1:00 p.m.
