SKBC at No. 1 after dominating win

In the only other game played, Lion Heart edged Vaiala Tongan A 3-2 while National Cup holder, Utulei Youth, was idle over the weekend.
Melfi Alshehri scored a hat trick against PanSa, scoring SKBC’s first two goals while teammate Matt Trick added two as well for a commanding, 4-0 lead by the end of the first half.
Alshehri scored the first goal in the second half to complete his hat trick as SKBC leads the division by goals differential over Vaiala Tongan A, Utulei Youth and Lion Heart, in that order.
Facing a 3-0 deficit and down a player after a first half red card, Vaiala Tongan A nearly overcame the cards stacked against them in a comeback that fell short.
Hiva Tulau scored a brace for Lion Heart and in the 50th they were leading 3-0.
Sione Pouli and Sinisa Tua helped Vaiala Tongan A cut the deficit to a one-goal lead with scores late in the second half and the chances just kept coming for them. However, they failed to capitalize on those chances and eventually saw a draw slip away with Lion Heart holding on for the win.
MATCH DAY 3 (AUGUST 23, 2014)
Vaiala Tongan A will challenge Utulei Youth for the Division 1 FFAS National Cup at 1:00 p.m. while Lion Heart takes on PanSa at nine in the morning. FC SKBC is off with a bye.
