Utulei women retain Cup in tough, 1-0 win

In the only other women’s game played, Ilaoa & To’omata beat Green Bay 4-1 while PanSa was idle over the weekend.
Utulei’s only score of the match came in the 18th minute of the match by Toaiva Ino. It was a great effort from Lion Heart as they fielded only 10 players. Utulei could not convert on numerous chances, walking away with only a 1-0 win.
Ilaoa & To’omata earned their first win of the season with a 4-1 showing against Green Bay.
At the conclusion of the first half they were leading 2-0 and added two more in the second half to complete the game’s finaly tally.
Scoring for the Leone-based team were sisters Sina and Lisa Luani, Susana Godinet and Charlotte Uili.
Deedee Faamalologa scored Green Bay’s lone goal.
