A battle of unbeatens to close out first round

Utulei was idle over the weekend while PanSa collected their third straight win in a row with a 5-0 showing against Green Bay last Saturday. In the only other women’s match of the ongoing, 2014 FFAS National League, Ilaoa & To’omata beat Lion Heart 7-0.
PanSa and Utulei Youth are tied with similar 3-0-0 records for nine points each. PanSa, however, has a superior differential in goals with 22 to Utulei Youth’s seven.
Their match this coming Saturday will be for the Cup as well as the No. 1 spot in the standings for the entire first round.
That match is set to kick off at 10:30 a.m.
In third place is Ilaoa & To’omata with six points from a 2-0-2 record while No. 4 Green Bay and No. 5 Lion Heart also have similar records of 0-0-3.
Lisa Sagapolutele scored four times for PanSa while teammate Melinda Tua added three of her own.
By the end of the first half it was only 3-0 but five goals in the second helped complete the game’s final tally.
Sisters Sina and Lisa Luani scored three and two goals, respectively, for Ilaoa & To’omata in their biggest win of the season.
Charlotte Uili scored a brace of her own as Ilaoa & To’omata poured in the goals in the first half with a 5-0 score.
